MBA have released the Promotions and Demotions resulting from pennant season 2020-21.
Modbury fared very well with not one demotion and Three promotions; Div. 2 North to Div. 1 on Wednesday, Div. 2 to Div. 1 and Div. 6 to Div. 5 on Saturday.
Div. 2 Thursday and Div4 Saturday Sides also played finals. Our Div 3 North Side Wednesday finished in 3rd place.
With our top sides Wednesday and Saturday sorely depleted as the season progressed it demonstrated the resilience of players in our lower sides to not only step up but to hang in and maintain the standards of all our sides.
A special mention must be made to our Saturday Div.7 side (3 Rinks) which fielded (with the help of our Social Members) a total of 55 players and were still able to finish in third position, just 9 points short of promotion. Many thanks to those Social players who volunteered to help out.
