Although the number of teams were down to 18, there were those stalwart few willing to brave the cold arctic winds and threat of rain to compete in a game of bowls.
This week’s winners, who by the way won last week with a similar score, were Stuart Jolly, Rod Bahr and Des Campbell with a score of 55 points and 20 shots up. The runners up were John Eldridge, Kevin Newman and Rob Jackway with a score of 54 points with 19 shots up.
A thank you to the the ground staff for preparing the greens, Wayne Mack and Aimee for running the raffle and Rob Jackway for helping in the office.
The number drawn for this week’s jackpot of $480 was +11 and the lucky winners were John Eldridge, Kevin Newman and Rob Jackway.
