It was a pleasant day with a light breeze unlike some of the weather we’ve had lately. It was a good turnout with 78 players playing alternating games on C and D green. Thanks to Alan Whitmarsh who stepped in to fill a gap in one of the teams.
This week’s winners and grinners were:
1st Game Winners: Don Ryan, Wendy Hobson and Peter Butters on 27 points + 15 shots
2nd Game Winners: Baz Wells, Baz Bennell and Tony Tanton on 29 points + 22 shots
2 Game Winners: Garry Swalling, Geoff Cutler and Roger Atkins on 59 points + 38 shots
2 Game Runners-up: Ken Griffiths, Peter Tiss and Ron Troost on 58 points + 28 shots
This week’s jackpot draw was 20, as there was no winner the $80 prize will carryover into next week’s draw. Thanks to Janice Byles for selling the raffle tickets and Branson for running the raffle. Also, thanks to Rob Jackway who came in early to help with preparations for the day’s event.
Friday bowls for 22nd December will be the last for 2023 and will resume on 12th January 2024.
