Triples Results Friday 29th August

It was a freezing, wet and windy day for the 64 players who were game enough to play despite the Weather Bureau’s alert for abnormal stormy weather conditions. Needless to say, players were very grateful to get back inside the clubrooms at the end of the game to relish the warm conditions, while having a tipple or two. Three members from the Prospect/Broadview club who attended the event were given a club welcome.

This week’s winners and grinners:

1^st Game Winners: Brian Hodkinson, Alan Gosling and Graham Fishlock on 28 points + 6 shots

2^nd Game Winners: Wayne Mack, John Linhart and Kym Butterfield on 28 points + 20 shots

2 Game Winners: Peter Zapris, Rod Bahr and Stuart Jolly on 56 points + 38 shots

2 Game Runners-up: John Slater, Geoff Cutler and Roger Atkins on 56 points + 35 shots

This week’s ‘lucky’ number for the jackpot draw of $65 was 30, which is based on the number of shots up in the second game. As no one claimed the prize, the jackpot will carry over into next week’s draw.

Thanks to Rob Jackway for coming in early to help with the day’s proceedings, Wayne Mack and Kym Butterfield for selling the raffle tickets and Peter Harris for running the draw.
