It was another windblown day that caused some concern for bowlers whose bowls were affected by the gusty conditions. Nevertheless, it was good be able to play on the synthetics among the 76 players who attended the day’s event. Listening to the lively chatter that goes on between teams and the exuberance of some players over a good shot or near miss on the jack adds to the enjoyment of a good day out.

This week’s ‘lucky’ number for the jackpot draw of $545 was 8, which will carry over into next week’s draw as nobody claimed the prize.
