What an idyllic day it was for bowls with plenty of sunshine and a light breeze. There was plenty of banter intermingled with enthusiastic outbursts from players lauding a good shot or near miss that echoed under the ‘Thunder Dome’. 96 bowlers played alternate games on C and D rinks.

This week’s ‘lucky’ number for the jackpot draw of $285 was 8, which will carry over into next week’s draw as nobody claimed the prize.
