82 players turned up for the event enabling organisers to field 13 teams of triples and 2 pairs. It was a close contest for the two game winners with three teams on a score of 55 points. One was a clear winner, but the other two teams had the same number of shots and the designated winners for the 2 game runners-up prize won on a countback.

2nd Game Winners: Cynthia Stewart, Sheila Dempsey and Peter Stewart on 28 points + 18 shots
2 Game Winners: Rob Jackway, Peter Zapris and Mick Jones on 55 points + 22 shots
2 Game Runner-up: Baz Wells, Baz Bennell and Mike Schonfeldt on 55 points + 19 shots
This week’s jackpot draw for $440 was +7. As there was no winner the jackpot will carryover into next week’s draw. A thanks to Les Scott for running the raffle and Rob Jackway who assisted with preparations for the day’s event.
‘Friday Triples’ is proving to be quite popular at present, so it is essential that members enter their names on the attendance sheet as early as possible to ensure they don’t miss out on a game. A sheet for the following week is usually placed on the notice board near the office by 11 AM on Fridays. Preferences for single entries (if required) will be given to members first.
