With weather on the cool side and rain that bucketed down later in the day, bowlers were thankful they were playing under cover of the ‘Thunder Dome’. In all, 84 players attended the event, including 2 players who stepped up to fill two vacancies.
This week’s winners and grinners are:
1st Game Winners: Cynthia Stewart, Sheila Dempsey and Peter Stewart on 28 points + 12 shots
2nd Game Winners: Jimmie Youngson, Alan Gosling and Graham Fishlock on 27 points + 15 shots
2 Game Winners: Peter Tiss, Wayne Lindsay and Ron Troost on 56 points + 20 shots
2 Game Runner-up: Roy Hills, Gordon Kay and Gary Wright on 55 points + 22 shots
This week’s jackpot draw for $250 was -7. Two teams threw their hands in the air, but as there can only be one winner the jackpot will carry over into next week’s draw. A thanks to Les Scott for running the raffle and Rob Jackway for helping with the day’s preparations.
