The weather was hot and humid, thankfully the event was played under cover of the Dome. 51 attended the event with alternate games being played on C and D Greens. ‘Fagin’ was well fed with a number of donations from players who had a wrong bias.

2 Game Winners: Bill Blackeby, Don Ryan and Mike Schonfeldt on 53 points + 11 shots
2 Game Runners-up: Sheila Dempsey, Cynthia Stewart and Peter Stewart on 53 points + 7 shots
This week’s ‘lucky’ number for the jackpot draw of $530 was 10. Although two teams had the same score of 10, the prize will carry over into next week’s draw as there was no clear winner. Thanks to Rob Jackway for coming in early to help with preparations for the day’s event and Kevin Neumann for selling the raffle tickets and running the draw.
Note : Friday Social Bowls for 2024 will finish on 20th December 2024 and will resume on the 10th January 2025.
