The weather was similar to the previous Friday, with clear skies and a slight breeze which made for a pleasant day of bowls. 58 attended the event with alternate games being played on C and D Greens. Everyone was dressed in the usual casual attire, but for a team of three ‘young ladies’ who stood out with the same colourful tops and Christmas tiaras on their heads.

2nd Game Winners: John White, Ron Dale and Mario Mascilongo on 27 points + 9 shots
2 Game Winners: Bill Blackeby, Don Ryan and Mick Schonfeldt on 54 points + 9 shots
2 Game Runners-up: Alan Gosling, Kate Gosling and Graham Fishlock on 53 points + 17 shots
This week’s ‘lucky’ number for the jackpot draw of $60 was 22 and as nobody claimed the prize the amount will carry over into next week’s draw. Thanks to Rob Jackway for coming in early to help with preparations for the day’s event, Kevin Neumann and Ken Pringle for selling the raffle tickets and Les Scott for running the draw.
