The Modbury Night Owls season officially commences on Wednesday 1st & Thursday 2nd October 2025 and runs until the 18th & 19th March 2026. There will be a Christmas/New Year break within the season.
Registration & Free Practice Nights for both Wednesday and Thursday teams are on the last 2 weeks of September:
- Wednesday Teams: 17th & 24th September
- Thursday Teams: 18th & 25th September
Registration Fee is
- $200 per team
- or $50 per player (teams of 4) for non-financial members of the Modbury Bowling Club
Weekly Costs
- $10 per night per player commencing in October when the season commences.
About the Season
The season offers all players the opportunity to enjoy the game of lawn bowls in a relaxed social environment with friends and family.
There are individual prizes, great raffle prizes and a generous jackpot at the end of the night. All teams and players are eligible for all prizes, win or lose.
Start times for the season is 7:00 pm finishing at approximately 9:20 pm, followed by prize money and raffle prizes to finish at 9:45 pm.
Facilities & Extras
The Modbury Bowling Club offers great bar facilities at very reasonable prices, bowls are provided or bring your own. There are 4 greens available to complete on,
2 synthetics that are undercover and 2 grass greens.
A sausage sizzle is also available before the game starts at 7:00 pm.
