Although the day was cloudy but dry, some players in the first game had difficulty coping with the cool strong gusty winds that swept across A Green. 72 players attended the event which was played on A and C Greens. One team had a good day, being the first game winners, as well as winning the jackpot prize.

This week’s winners and grinners:

1^st Game Winners: Malcolm Foster, Stewart Bruinsma and Leo Roberti on 29 points + 15 shots

2^nd Game Winners: John Foley, Kym Klopp and Ian McPhillips on 28 points + 16 shots

2 Game Winners: Rob Jackway, Kate Gosling and Mick Jones on 57 points + 24 shots

2 Game Runners-up: Roy Hills, Roger Frick and Gary Wright on 55 points + 23 shots

This week’s ‘lucky’ number for the jackpot draw of $140 was 15. The prize was shared between the teams of – Malcolm Foster, Stewart Bruinsma and Leo Roberti and Rowland Lawton, Chris Luck and Kevin Rebbeck.

Thanks to Rob Jackway for coming in early to help with the day’s proceedings, Janice Byles for selling the raffle tickets and Derek Hostler for the use of his phone to run the raffle numbers.
