A number of players were relieved to return to the cool comfort of the club rooms at the end of play as it was quite a humid day outside. A total of 54 bowlers attended the event, making up 18 teams who played alternate games on C and D Greens.
1st Game Winners: David Windram, Ron Troost and Peter Tiss on 29 points + 14 shots
2 Game Winners: Sheila Dempsey, Cynthia Stewart and Peter Stewart on 55 points + 18 shots
2 Game Runners-up: Wendy Klopp, Angela Pringle and Ken Pringle on 54 points + 18 shots
This week’s ‘lucky’ number for the jackpot draw was 27, which is based on the number of shots up in the second game. As no one claimed the prize, the jackpot will carry over into next week’s draw which is expected to reach about $350.
