The end of year event finished on a good note with a great turnout and the jackpot being won. 84 players attended the day’s meet, playing alternate games on C and D Greens. There were a number of casualties who took ‘the walk of shame’ to make a donation to ‘Fagin’, which is gratefully appreciated by the Guide Dogs SA/NT fund.

The lucky number for the jackpot prize of $165 was 2 shared between the teams of Mary Fleer, Meg Smith and Sue Stephens and Don Ryan, David Windham and Mike Schonfeldt. Thanks to Les Scott for running the raffle. A special thanks to George Swandale and Rob Jackway for their assistance in the office and likewise to all those players who regularly attend Friday Bowls as your patronage makes it all worthwhile for the organisers and for the Club.
