The drizzly wet weather in the morning gradually cleared before play commenced, and the 20 teams who attended were able to enjoy a reasonably pleasant afternoon.
This week’s two game winners were Garry Swalling, Roger Atkins and Geoff Cutler who scored 56 points with 32 shots up. Runners-up were Peter Tiss, Wayne Lindsay and Ron Troost with a score 54 points and 20 shots up. There were several players that had a wrong bias (one person who shall remain unnamed had 4), who gave a donation to (Fagan) the SA/NT Guide Dogs Fund, which is much appreciated.
A thank you to Tim Arbon, Ken Raymond and Neil Martin for maintaining the greens, Les Scott for running the raffle and Rob Jackway for helping in the office.
The number drawn for this week’s jackpot of $480 was +9. And the lucky winners were Garry Swalling, Roger Atkins and Geoff Cutler.
