It was a pleasant day for bowls with blue skies and a mild breeze, certainly a change from the humid weather we’ve had of late. 66 players attended the event played on C and D Greens.

1st Game Winners: Kate Gosling, Trevor Jackway and Rob Jackway on 26 points + 7 shots
2nd Game Winners: Gary Swalling, David Stint and Geoff Cutler on 28 points + 18 shots
2 Game Winners: Peter Tiss, Dave Windram and Ron Troost on 54 points + 28 shots
2 Game Runners-up: Marion Birch, Rae W and Shorty on 54 points + 16 shots
This week’s number for the jackpot draw of $435 was 29, which is based on the number of shots up in the second game. As no one claimed the prize, the jackpot will carry over into next week’s draw.
