Committee Meeting Notes

On the 26th Aug 2020, the Mallee Pirates Committee had a meeting to discuss the team and future requirements.  Here are the main points discussed

• Practice / Selection Dates confirmed (Players are to advise their availability for each day) –
  • Sun 13^th September at 11 am at the Modbury Bowling Club
  • Sun 27^th September at 11 am at the Modbury Bowling Club
  • Fri 2^nd October at 6pm at the Modbury Bowling Club
  • Sun 11^th October at 11am at the Modbury Bowling Club
• First official game will be held on the 16^th October.  The draw is yet to be confirmed and provided
• We one home game at Modbury Bowling Club

• We have a non-Salisbury hosted game on

• The general public will be invited to the practise sessions to build team support
• The committee would like to know your thoughts on an hour rollup/practice at the Modbury Bowling Club before going to the official games at Salisbury.  Feedback Please.
• We would like to nominate a Team Captain for each team (Main, Reserves and U21).  This is to be determined at the practice days
• We have decided to arrange a Mascot for the team.  Steve Leister has volunteered to be the pirate.  A costume will be arranged for him to fit the part.
• We will continue to grow the website with more content.  Some ideas are
  • Video interviews of each player
  • Photo gallery
  • And more.

Our next meeting will be held on the 7^th of September at 11 am
