There was a cool breeze in the morning that continued throughout the day providing some welcome relief in the afternoon as the day grew warmer. A field of 20 teams attended the fixture with play commencing on “A” and “B” greens with some teams alternating between the two greens after half time.
This week’s winners were Alan Atkinson, Des Campbell and Rex Reddacliff with a score of 54 points and 10 shots up. In second place were Roland Lawton, Tony Rowe and Mario Mascilongo with 53 points and 22 shots up.
A thank you to Tim Arbon and the grounds staff for the work they do in keeping the greens and surrounding areas in good shape. Thanks also to Les Scott for running the raffle and Rob Jackway for helping in the office and placing the mats and kitties out.
The number drawn for this week’s jackpot of $60 was +7. As there was no winner the jackpot will carry over into next week.
Please remember face masks must still be worn while in the club rooms, unless you are sitting down eating or drinking.
