There was a good turnout this week with the player numbers increasing to 78. At first the weather was overcast, but the clouds dispersed later in the afternoon as the day warmed up. Players commented on how fast both ‘A’ and ‘B’ greens were running.
This week’s winners were Allan Gosling, Brian Hodkinson and Graham Fishlock with a score 56 points and 26 shots up. In second place were the team of Roland Lawton, Claudio Stocco and Wayne Haskett, who scored 54 points with 10 shots up.
A thank you to Tim Arbon and the grounds staff for the work they do in keeping the greens and surrounding areas in good shape. Thanks also to Les Scott for running the raffle and Rob Jackway for helping in the office and placing the mats and kitties out.
The number drawn for this week’s jackpot of $80 was +8. The lucky winners were Allan Gosling, Brian Hodkinson and Graham Fishlock.
