Weather wise it wasn’t too bad a day for bowls, with a pleasant breeze at first, which seemed to ease off later as it grew more humid. 48 players attended the meet with alternate games being played on C and D Greens. Once again, ‘Fagin’ was well fed with a number of donations from players who had a wrong bias.

2 Game Runners-up: Sheila Dempsey, Cynthia Stewart and Peter Stewart on 52 points + 18 shots
This week’s ‘lucky’ number for the jackpot draw of $580 was 0. Yes, it’s true, there is a marble with ‘0’, which covers matches where the outcome in the second game for two opposing teams ends in a draw. The lucky winners who shared the prize were – Julie Simmons, Rae Weidenbach, Shorty, John Foley, Kym Klopp and Ian McPhillips.
