It was another humid day with the temperature up around the 33o mark and little or no breeze to speak of. 54 players (18 teams) attended the day’s event which was played under cover on C and D greens. Roger Atkins made a guest appearance after travelling all the way from Hove and was one of the day’s lucky winners.
This week’s winners and grinners were:
1st Game Winners: Ian Edwards, Lou Fitzgerald and Derek Hostler on 29 points + 12 shots
2nd Game Winners: John Eldridge, John Slater and Kevin Rebbeck on 27 points + 8 shots
2 Game Winners: Garry Swalling, Geoff Cutler and Roger Atkins 56 points + 36 shots
2 Game Runners-up: Roger Frick, Mary-anne Haines and Dave Moate on 55 points + 16 shots
This week’s ‘lucky’ number for the jackpot draw of $310 was 20. As nobody claimed the jackpot, the prize money will carry over into next week’s draw.
