It was good to get back on the greens after last week’s cancellation due to the hot weather forecast. The rain from Thursday helped bring the temperatures down, making it a pleasant day for bowls. Teams consisted of 22 triples who played alternate games on C and D Greens. Thanks to Peter Zapris who came in to make up the numbers.

2 Game Runners-up: Alan Atkinson, Vic Hill and John Stephens on 52 points + 5 shots
This week’s ‘lucky’ number for the jackpot draw of $655 was 10. The prize was shared between the teams of Rob Jackway, Kate Gosling and Mick Jones, and John Foley, David Martin and Ian McPhillips. Thanks to Rob Jackway for coming in early to help with the day’s proceedings, Wayne Mack for selling the raffle tickets and David Cheesman for running the draw.
