Well it finally happened with social games being played on grass. Numbers were down from previous weeks as some players are now involved with the Pennants. The 66 players attending faced the unique challenge of playing one game on grass and the other on the synthetic surface at the same club. ‘Fagin’ received another ‘meal’ of donations to Guide Dogs SA/NT, which is gratefully appreciated.

The jackpot draw for $770 finally went off. The lucky number was 4 and the jackpot was shared between Alan Atchison, Vic Hill and John Stephens and Sheila Dempsey, Cynthia and Peter Stewart. Thanks to Janice Byles for volunteering to sell the raffle tickets and Les Scott for running the raffle.
