Although the forecast was expected to reach 19 degrees it didn’t feel like it with the cool afternoon breeze. Nevertheless, it did not deter the 84 players from enjoying a day out on the greens. The 28 triple teams played alternate games on C and D Greens.
1st Game Winners: Lee Arbon, Rae Heitmann and Vicki Arbon on 29 points + 30 shots
2nd Game Winners: Rowland Lawton, Lyndon Calvert and Kevin Rebbeck on 28 points + 19 shots
2 Game Winners: John Biddiss, Baz Bennell and Chris McCulloch on 55 points + 26 shots
2 Game Runners-up: Brenda Porter, Mike Porter and Alan Whitmarsh on 54 points + 14 shots
This week’s ‘lucky’ number for the jackpot draw of $85 was 21, which is based on the number of shots up in the second game. As no one claimed the prize, the jackpot will carry over into next week’s draw. Thanks to Rob Jackway for coming in early to help with the day’s proceedings, Haymoss and Tony Roe for selling the raffle tickets and Kevin Neumann for running the draw.
